Provide decision and economic analysis consulting for global investment decisions and commercial negotiations across upstream oil & gas, LNG, midstream, refining, and lower carbon sectors.
Develop, refine, and validate economic and cash flow models including those involving complex fiscal regimes like PSCs and JVs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Chevron Project Management standards.
Lead and facilitate framing and decision-structuring sessions, coordinate data elicitation across teams, perform qualitative and probabilistic analyses, and communicate clear insights to decision-makers to support investment strategy.
Minimum 5 years work experience; 10 years preferred, ideally within upstream oil and gas industry.
Higher education degree in business, economics, or finance combined with an undergraduate technical degree (e.g., engineering).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including building complex formulas and economic modeling; familiarity with decision tree concepts desirable.
Ability to work from Chevron’s Bengaluru office with flexibility in working hours aligned to business needs.
Experienced in applying decision analysis principles and economic evaluation in complex energy sector projects involving diverse fiscal and contractual frameworks.
Skilled in leading cross-functional engagements involving engineering, legal, tax, commercial, and finance teams to structure decisions and manage information flow.
Strong communicator able to synthesize complex quantitative analysis into actionable insights for leadership and influence investment decisions.
