Manage full logistics support for finished goods supply functions including domestic and international shipments ensuring compliance with Indian laws and regulations.
Liaise and coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain) and external partners (customs agents, freight forwarders, regulatory bodies) to ensure timely, legal, and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Maintain and update inventory databases and documentation, lead training on customs laws and compliance, and handle compliance-related issues proactively to support business continuity.
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, science, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
10-12 years of experience managing customs and clearing agents (air & sea) with at least 10 years in tea, herbs, and food additives sector.
5-7 years handling customs for countries including Middle East, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Australia; strong knowledge of Indian customs and export schemes (SEZ, AA).
Experience managing export schemes like Advance Authorization handling at least 150 MT and 40 SKUs per month.
Strong expertise in Indian customs regulations and international logistics, especially for tea and related products, with ability to translate complex customs issues to stakeholders.
Experience operating in fast-changing, ambiguous environments with demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP), Excel, and excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
