Own end-to-end KYC onboarding and periodic review processes for alternative investment funds and various entity types including Trusts, Hedge Funds, Pension Plans, ensuring compliance with AML/KYC policies.
Perform detailed risk assessments, screening of customer and related parties, and validation of Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documentation using multiple tools and platforms.
Coordinate with client representatives and relationship managers to collect missing or additional information and ensure all KYC requirements and risk procedures are met prior to account opening.
2 to 5 years of AML experience required with solid knowledge of AML/KYC processes.
Graduate degree or higher is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with KYC reviews for alternative investment funds and corporate structures such as controlling parties and beneficial ownership.
Willingness and flexibility to work in Bangalore location and shifts, including extended hours if required.
Experienced in conducting KYC for a diverse set of entities including banks, mutual funds, pension plans, charities, and non-profit organizations, with preference to those familiar with alternative investment fund clients such as Hedge and Private Equity funds.
Proficient in screening and investigative tools such as Lexis Nexis, World Check, Prime Check, and risk rating techniques.
Capable of managing high volume KYC operations requiring attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and meeting strict deadlines within a centralized AML/KYC processing environment.
