Lead and execute end-to-end control assurance activities for Information Security sub functions, including first line of defence (1LOD) assessments and client assessments.
Partner cross-functionally with Information Security, Sourcing, Technology, Legal, and audit teams to coordinate assessments, third-party contract reviews, and cyber insurance risk quantification.
Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable assurance plans, support control testing, and drive measurable improvements in control effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field with 10+ years in Information Security OR 12+ years in Information Security without degree.
8+ years experience in information security, technology risk, security controls assurance or audit, including 5+ years leading teams.
Strong knowledge of US IT banking regulations and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, CRI).
Work Timings: 5AM to 2PM EST; Level 12 role requiring 18 months in organization and 12 months in current role for internal applicants.
Experienced leader with a strong background in Information Security Risk Management within US-based financial institutions.
Proficient in designing and executing multi-domain security control testing and assurance programs.
Skilled in cross-functional influence and partnership with Tech, Risk, Legal, and Audit teams, able to deliver executive communications on complex security findings.
