Own vehicle testing, performance evaluation, and calibration of software control algorithms for Active Safety Systems like ABS, ESP, and new braking systems (IPB, iB, DPB) across ICE, HEV, and EV vehicles.
Conduct vehicle tests in varied conditions (summer and winter), troubleshoot hardware/software issues during development, and ensure compliance with Bosch, customer, and legal requirements.
Interface with customers to provide technical support and collaborate with internal teams for project acquisition and technical activities.
5-9 years of experience in Automotive Domain with engineering graduate or postgraduate qualification.
Experience in vehicle testing including brake tests and lane change maneuvers on different surfaces.
Knowledge of Active Safety Systems (ABS, ESP) and homologation testing as per regulations.
Hands-on experience with DAQ systems (Vbox, Vector tools, data loggers), programming skills in C, Matlab, Simulink, and hydraulic brake system understanding with brake system calculation and foundation brake sizing.
Experienced in dynamic vehicle testing with strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, tyre, and suspension tuning.
Technical ability to analyze and calibrate control systems impacting vehicle safety and behavior, across multiple vehicle types (ICE, HEV, EV).
Comfortable with hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting and interfacing with clients for technical support and collaboration.
