Own end-to-end validation and testing of two Kubernetes-based cloud platforms (Azure Local hybrid stack and FedRAMP-authorized GCP deployment) covering deployment, Day-2 operations, upgrades, and decommission.
Design, execute, and document comprehensive solution-level test cases across reliability, availability, scalability, security, observability, performance, recoverability, and upgradability using Given/When/Then style.
Troubleshoot and debug infrastructure and platform issues from code to cloud resources, perform resilience and chaos testing to verify platform SLOs, and collaborate closely with engineering on quality from design through release.
5+ years QA/SDET experience with at least 2 years hands-on Kubernetes experience and 1+ year in a major public cloud (Azure or GCP).
Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes tools (kubectl, Helm, operators, CRDs, PVCs, StatefulSets, ArgoCD/Flux, network policies, node affinity).
Experience with Azure AKS and GCP GKE, including related monitoring, key management, and identity services.
Ability to read and understand Terraform, Ansible, and Helm charts to trace deployed infrastructure and perform root cause analysis.
Experienced in platform-level validation with deep technical understanding of Kubernetes infrastructure and major public cloud operations (Azure and/or GCP).
Comfortable collaborating as a peer during design and planning stages to prevent defects early, not just during test execution.
Skilled in observability tools and applying security and FedRAMP-related controls with a mindset focused on platform reliability and regulatory compliance.
