Tier-1 brand and metro location increase competition, while niche DO-178C avionics skills reduce qualified applicant density.
Highly specialized safety-critical avionics skills and certification experience have low cross-industry transferability.
Mandatory DO-178C, RTOS and embedded language expertise enforces strict technical filtering of candidates.
