Own hands-on triage, troubleshooting, and system-level integration across Cepheid instruments and subsystems.
Lead and execute technical project tasks ensuring alignment with system requirements in a cross-functional engineering environment.
Represent Systems Integration on project teams and collaborate on developing test methods and validation activities.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, molecular biology, life sciences, or related discipline with 5+ years of industry laboratory experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience.
Proven experience in developing and integrating complex instrumentation systems with optical, mechanical, thermal, and firmware/software components.
Strong expertise in design of experiments, test result interpretation, failure investigation, and advanced troubleshooting using data analysis tools (Origin, Matlab, Minitab, Image Analysis Software).
Experience generating system architecture documents, requirements, traceability matrices, and technical documentation.
Experience working in regulated environments such as medical device or biotechnology industry with GMP and GLP practices is a plus.
Familiarity with programming languages C/C++ or Python, and knowledge of verification/validation processes.
Hands-on knowledge of analog/digital electronics, hardware test method development, optomechanical and electromechanical assembly preferred.
