Lead and own month-end financial controllership activities including billing, cash collection, revenue management, accounts receivable/payable, accrued income, and adherence to accounting policies.
Manage statutory and regulatory reporting, month-on-month variance analysis, and respond to adhoc business and audit queries with primary stakeholders such as business heads, CFO, regulators, and auditors.
Support business partnering by providing deep dive business analysis, business reviews, revenue and sales pipeline insights, and contribute to creating standardized processes, SOPs, automation initiatives, and a robust finance framework at the India center.
5 to 20 years of experience in financial controllership and business partnering depending on level.
Knowledge of billing and cash collection mandatory for the role.
Understanding of accounting principles with experience in statutory and regulatory reporting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI and Workday/Adaptive Planning knowledge preferred.
Experienced finance professional capable of end-to-end ownership of month-end and business partnering processes in a cross-jurisdictional financial services environment.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships including business heads, CFO, auditors, and regulators with strong communication skills.
Interest and capability to drive process improvements, automation, data analytics, and contribute to building a high performing global finance team from the ground up.
