Responsible for 24/7 threat monitoring, detection, and incident management within SOC environments.
Analyze suspicious activities, perform alert triage, incident validation and severity assessment following SOPs.
Develop and maintain incident management policies, ensure SLA adherence, and work to reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR).
2-5 years of relevant experience in SOC, Incident Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, or related cybersecurity functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (B.Tech, MCA, MBA with IT background).
Mandatory certification in one of: Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), CHFI, CEH (EC-Council), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GCIH, or equivalent.
Experience with SOC security tools (SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, NBA) preferred; Splunk experience preferred.
Experienced in SOC operations with capability to handle incident triage and threat detection in high-pressure environments.
Familiar with security tool management and automation within SOC, showing operational expertise in reducing MTTD and MTTR.
Holds relevant cybersecurity certifications indicating a practical understanding of incident handling and forensic processes.
