Provide 24/7 monitoring, detection, and analysis of cyber threats including alert triage and incident validation.
Manage security incident response, reporting, escalation, and post-incident analysis following established playbooks and SOPs.
Develop and maintain incident management and response policies while ensuring adherence to SLA/KPIs and working to reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR).
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in SOC, Incident Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, SOC platform management, Automation, Asset Integration, Threat Intel Management, or Threat Hunting.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (B.Tech/MCA/MBA with IT background).
Mandatory certification in one of the following: Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (EC-Council), Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent.
Preferred experience or certifications on SOC security tools such as SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, NBA; familiarity with Splunk is a plus.
Experienced in hands-on SOC operations and incident response with ability to work under SLA and KPI constraints focused on incident lifecycle management.
Comfortable working with various SOC security tools and automation platforms for threat detection and response.
Capable of maintaining policy and procedural documentation and collaborating on continuous process improvements to decrease MTTD and MTTR.
