Own and manage the end-to-end Procurement Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) lifecycle for Procurement & Sourcing, including risk identification, rating, control validation, and governance approvals.
Design, maintain and oversee the control environment across Procure to Pay (P2P) and sourcing processes ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulatory obligations such as FCA operational resilience and Consumer Duty.
Lead procurement divisional key control testing, 1LoD assurance, issue management, and act as first line of defence in audits and regulatory reviews while providing regular risk and controls reporting to senior leadership.
18+ years of professional experience as an operational risk specialist within financial services or procurement/sourcing firms, including experience in 1LoD, 2LoD, or audit roles.
Graduation is mandatory; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Management/Administration or Engineering. MBA or equivalent post-graduate business management qualification is preferred.
Understanding of FCA regulatory expectations related to third-party and outsourcing risk including operational resilience and Consumer Duty.
Exposure to Oracle Fusion Procurement or comparable P2P platform; experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI for automation and reporting is desirable.
Extensive expertise in managing procurement risk frameworks including RCSA, control environment design, control testing, and issue management in a complex financial services context.
Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams including risk, compliance, internal audit, and senior stakeholders across regions.
Technologically adept with a track record of leveraging automation and AI (Microsoft stack) to enhance procurement risk and control processes.
