Manage daily sourcing operations including order clarification, scheduling, and purchase order follow-up at supplier sites in India for Casting & Forgings.
Drive supplier improvement projects focused on quality, delivery, and cost, including supplier development aligned to strategy and operating plan.
Analyze complex internal and external data for process and product improvement; handle RFQ, price negotiation, and monitor KPIs; act as liaison between sites, commodity team, and suppliers.
Mechanical or equivalent engineering degree.
6-7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or expediting castings.
Experience specifically with Steel and Iron casting and machining suppliers.
Willingness to travel to supplier locations minimum 50% of the time.
Experienced in Valve industry sourcing or related sectors with casting & forging expertise.
Capable of independently managing sourcing activities within a matrix organization with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Comfortable working on technical specifications including reading drawings, knowledge of casting costs, quality processes, NDT, and supplier audits.
