Manage daily loan operations including general ledger entries, cashflows, secondary trade processing, and loan trade settlements using LoanIQ system.
Ensure operational requirements and regulatory compliance are met before booking and settling trades, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including legal, finance, risk, and operations teams.
Monitor work in process and control reports, handle query resolution, participate in process automation and operational reviews, and contribute to departmental projects such as UAT testing.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
1-2 years of financial industry experience with relevant loan operations exposure; alternatively, 3-4 years financial industry experience preferred.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with LoanIQ system, wires, nostros, fund flows, and syndicated loans procedures.
Ability to understand loan-related legal documents and regulatory requirements; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word essential.
Experience in loan trade settlement, processing, and controls within a fast-paced investment banking environment with understanding of trading concepts like Delayed Compensation and Cost of Carry.
Detail-oriented with ability to manage high volume work independently under deadlines and stress, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and communication with internal departments, legal teams, and external clients, driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
