Prepare and record global payroll journal entries including salaries, bonuses, commissions, stock-based compensation, benefits, and multi-state/international taxes.
Perform detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations, payroll flux analyses, and manage payroll accounting for equity compensation programs across multiple complex international jurisdictions.
Lead payroll accounting process improvements, including AI and automation initiatives, support audits, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement new accounting systems and processes.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
6-8 years of general accounting experience with at least 4+ years specifically in payroll accounting.
Strongly preferred Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA equivalent certification.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting systems and strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
Experienced in handling payroll accounting across complex global jurisdictions including Netherlands, Brazil, France, Germany, and India.
Proven ability to partner across local and remote accounting teams and support statutory audits and SOX compliance.
Demonstrated interest or experience in driving automation and AI adoption in payroll or accounting operations.
