Oversee tax compliance, reporting, and review processes for hedge funds and mutual funds, including taxable income calculations and related tax adjustments.
Manage relationships with external tax vendors and coordinate tax filings such as Forms 1065, 1120-RIC, 1042, and international filings (FBAR, 8865, 5471).
Develop analytical models, prepare reconciliation schedules, and address investor tax inquiries ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is mandatory.
Minimum 5+ years of tax experience within the asset management industry, specifically U.S. partnership and corporate taxation.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel; knowledge of AI tools for tax automation is valued.
CPA or EA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong expertise in U.S. hedge fund taxation with knowledge of mutual fund taxation as an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to independently handle complex tax compliance and reporting with strong analytical skills.
