Handle escalated investigations from level I Threat Analysts and provide guidance on handling security events and cyber-threat responses.
On-board and train new Threat Analysts and contribute to Security Operations process improvement and creation.
Track and follow up with clients through threat neutralization and produce MDR service reports and security metrics.
2-4 years experience in SOC or computer security team in IT environment with endpoint and network security expertise (IDS, IPS, EDR, ATP, Malware defenses).
Knowledge of incident response procedures and fundamentals of network traffic analysis (TCP/IP, routing, protocols).
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Willingness to work outside standard business hours including weekends and holidays for a 24x7x365 service.
Experience with security investigation escalation, mentorship, and training within SOC environments.
Familiarity with threat hunting, Mitre ATT&CK framework, Windows and Unix-based OS administration, and security data management (SIEM).
Operating effectively both independently and within team settings, maintaining strong documentation and client communication skills.
