Lead technical accounting research and documentation for new and complex transactions under U.S. GAAP, including preparing technical accounting memos and position papers.
Support and implement accounting for complex revenue recognition matters (ASC 606), acquisitions, leases, stock-based compensation, impairments, and other technical accounting topics relevant for quarterly and annual SEC reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Product, and other stakeholders to evaluate accounting impact of contracts, business initiatives, and new accounting standards, and support audit and compliance activities.
Active CPA license or equivalent professional accounting certification (CA, ACCA, CPA) mandatory.
5+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience; Big 4 audit experience preferred but not mandatory.
Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and complex accounting topics like acquisitions, leases, and stock-based compensation.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with ERP and financial reporting systems like Workday, BlackLine, Hyperion preferred.
Experience in a public company or public accounting environment handling SEC reporting and SOX-compliant processes.
Proven ability to manage complex technical accounting matters independently with high attention to detail and strong communication skills across finance and non-finance teams.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams including Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Product, and Corporate Development.
