Operate and support Shell's central SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring stable, reliable, and secure application and infrastructure services.
Analyze and resolve operational incidents, support service requests, problem tickets, and maintain Azure VMs related to BTP connectivity services within established SLAs.
Collaborate closely with Application Support, Project Delivery teams, and vendors (primarily SAP) to deliver new capabilities and continuous improvement in BTP operations using DevSecOps practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
Experience with SAP BTP operations, scripting (Java or Python), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Power Platform), and platforms like Azure, AWS, or BTP.
Understanding of SAP Basis administration, database management, IT Service Management, and knowledge of networking concepts (OSI model, API management) and cloud integrations.
Experienced in operating complex SAP BTP platforms within global virtual teams, comfortable collaborating across cultures and time zones.
Proficient in agile and SAFE methodologies with hands-on knowledge of automation and DevSecOps tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills with ability to deliver end-to-end support and improvements in a multi-discipline technical environment.
