Oversee Installation & Commissioning, operation, and maintenance of electrical substation SCADA components including RTU, FRTU, LDMS, MPLS within power transmission networks.
Manage design, configuration, implementation, testing, training, and operation of SCADA systems such as Movicon, GE CIMPLICITY, Siemens WinCC, Wonderware or equivalents on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety, industry standards (IEEE, IEC, NERC, OSHA, NFPA), cybersecurity protocols, and coordinate with utilities, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
2-5 years minimum experience in substation operations, maintenance, or construction with HV and EHV transmission exposure.
Strong technical expertise in substation equipment, protection systems, SCADA, automation technologies, relay coordination, fault analysis, and power system stability.
Proficiency in substation design and maintenance management software and SCADA platforms.
Location requirement: On-site in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
Experienced project engineer or manager with demonstrated leadership in managing substation SCADA installation and commissioning projects.
Comfortable working closely with multiple stakeholders including utilities, consultants, vendors, and site engineers in a regulated environment.
Strong operational ownership of ensuring safety, compliance, and technical reliability across electrical substation automation and protection systems.
