Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) plans and test methods for subsystem and system-level requirements of KingFisher sample preparation and detection instruments.
Perform hands-on testing, analyze test data to identify failures and trends, and support root cause investigations and design changes.
Support sustaining engineering, lifecycle management, and VAVE initiatives including cost optimization and performance validation across product lifecycles.
Collaborate globally with R&D and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive validation coverage and improve product robustness.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related field).
5+ years of experience in test engineering, verification, or validation roles.
Experience in developing and executing test plans, protocols, and reports; strong data analysis and root cause problem-solving skills.
Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments; knowledge of design controls and validation in regulated environments preferred but not mandatory.
Proven individual contributor with strong ownership of test and verification activities at both subsystem and system levels in complex engineering environments.
Experience or familiarity with life sciences or analytical instrumentation, system-level and reliability testing, and environmental testing.
Ability to operate effectively in a global R&D setup collaborating with systems, electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams.
