Design, develop, and optimize computer vision and signal processing algorithms to run efficiently on the PVA engine within Tegra SoC.
Develop and enhance the PVA SDK to enable internal and external customers to map and optimize complex algorithms on VLIW/SIMD hardware.
Provide technical leadership and set the technical direction and feature set for the PVA SDK, including writing maintainable, well-tested code with automated testing.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience developing high-performance software, particularly in computer vision, image processing, radar, or lidar signal processing on DSPs, GPUs, or CPUs.
Strong C++ software development skills including low-level debugging and performance profiling; experience with Linux or QNX development environments.
Deep familiarity with SDKs for heterogeneous accelerators, including compilers, debuggers, profilers, runtime APIs, and documentation.
Experienced in designing and shipping programming models for programmable hardware accelerators, especially SIMD/VLIW processors.
Knowledgeable about compiler, debugger, linker or toolchain development, preferably with LLVM.
Experience or interest in applying AI tools and LLMs to enhance DSP and accelerator SDK development workflows, including AI-assisted code generation and optimization.
