Research, prototype, and optimize real-time robotics software workloads mapped to NVIDIA’s Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA).
Design and implement efficient PVA operators across perception, sensor fusion, planning, and actuator pipelines to improve latency, throughput, and power efficiency.
Develop benchmarks, validation infrastructure, and collaborate cross-functionally to define robotics acceleration strategies at hardware and software levels.
BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years experience in robotics software, embedded systems, accelerated computing, or related fields.
Strong expertise in robotics algorithms (perception, sensor fusion, control, planning), C/C++ programming, and low-level optimization for heterogeneous hardware.
Experience with embedded Linux and/or QNX, robotics middleware (e.g. ROS 2), and real robot sensor/actuator integration.
Experienced working at the intersection of robotics systems and heterogeneous accelerated computing platforms, particularly for real-time robotic workloads.
Capable of end-to-end workload analysis, operator design, and performance optimization on embedded programmable accelerators within complex robotics pipelines.
Skilled in collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams including hardware architects, compiler developers, and robotics engineers to deliver scalable and efficient acceleration solutions.
