Develop and enhance the SDK for the Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA) to support internal and external developers.
Design, optimize, and implement computer vision and signal processing algorithms specifically for the PVA’s VLIW/SIMD hardware.
Provide technical leadership and set the technical direction and feature set for the PVA SDK, including writing maintainable, well-tested code with automated testing.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of professional experience in high-performance software development.
Proven experience developing computer vision, image processing, radar, or lidar signal processing algorithms on DSPs, GPUs, or CPUs.
Strong C++ programming skills including low-level debugging, performance profiling, and experience with Linux-based or QNX environments.
Experience in designing and shipping programming models for programmable hardware accelerators using SIMD/VLIW processors.
Familiarity with compiler, debugger, linker, or toolchain development, preferably with LLVM.
Knowledge of automotive or safety standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508, and practical use of AI tools for engineering automation and code validation in performance-critical or safety-critical contexts.
