Ensure stability, availability, and performance of IBM i (iSeries/AS/400) mission-critical manufacturing applications across China and Southeast Asia.
Provide L2/L3 production support including incident management, batch/job scheduling with CA Scheduler, HA/DR support, and release/change activities within defined SLAs.
Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to minimize downtime, perform root cause analysis, and manage performance optimization.
Minimum 5 years experience in iSeries application development or support.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM i operations (iSeries/AS/400), RPG (RPGLE/ILE), CL/CLLE, and SQL/Db2 for i.
Experience with CA Job Scheduler administration and HA/DR technologies (e.g., MIMIX, PowerHA) on IBM i.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experienced in high-availability production support with ability to meet shorter resolution times in manufacturing environments.
Comfortable handling on-call duties and incident escalations across Asia time zones.
Demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills necessary for collaboration with diverse technical teams and business stakeholders.
