Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
Manage and monitor all phases of software development lifecycle including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and user support.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) advising senior stakeholders and coaching junior team members, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and firm policies.
5-8 years of relevant experience in applications development with hands-on Java programming.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring, Kafka, and distributed systems technologies (e.g., Apache Ignite, Gemfire).
Experience with relational databases like Oracle; knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB) and Python preferred but not mandatory.
Proven ability to design complex, distributed systems with enterprise-level architecture and design pattern implementation.
Experience with microservices architecture and API-first design using REST, WebSocket, and gRPC.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift and ability to work independently with strong project management skills.
