Design and validate security and data privacy controls for a cloud-native regulated business platform.
Define, review, and implement security requirements including authentication, authorization, encryption, API security, and cloud deployment controls.
Support threat modeling, vulnerability management, external certification readiness (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.), and partner with AI engineers on privacy and responsible AI controls.
Minimum 7 years experience in cybersecurity, application or cloud security, data privacy, security engineering, or risk control roles.
Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, API security, secure SDLC, vulnerability management, and cloud security controls.
Experience with Azure or equivalent cloud security services including identity management, Key Vault, logging, monitoring, and security posture management.
Understanding of privacy principles related to PII handling, minimization, retention, masking, access control, and data transfer controls.
Experienced in working cross-functionally with architects, DevOps, product, and QA teams to integrate security and privacy by design within cloud-native platforms.
Skilled in converting security requirements into practical implementation and documentation for compliance and audits.
Familiar with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, SOC 1, and CSA STAR, and capable of supporting certification readiness.
