Research and optimize robotics workloads for NVIDIA’s Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA) across sensor and actuator processing pipelines.
Design, implement, and integrate optimized PVA operators into real-time robotics systems to improve latency, determinism, power efficiency, and throughput.
Collaborate cross-functionally on acceleration strategies and build benchmarks and validation infrastructure to support robotics algorithm development on PVA.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years experience in robotics software, embedded systems, accelerated computing, or related domains.
Proficient in C/C++ programming with experience in low-level debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
Experience with embedded Linux and/or QNX development, and knowledge of embedded systems architecture including real-time scheduling and memory hierarchy.
Deep expertise in robotics algorithm domains including perception, sensor fusion, control, and planning.
Strong familiarity with heterogeneous hardware acceleration and mapping algorithms to accelerators like SIMD/VLIW processors or domain-specific hardware.
Experience working with robotics middleware (e.g., ROS 2), real robot sensor integration, and accelerator technologies such as NVIDIA Jetson or PVA platforms.
