Own data governance activities ensuring integrity, quality, and availability of payment and cash custody data across multiple applications (e.g., Transact, RTPS, RPH, Data Warehouse).
Develop and implement data governance policies, monitor compliance, conduct audits, document data lineage, and maintain metadata repositories within payment and cash custody systems.
Collaborate with IT, operations, compliance teams, and stakeholders to embed governance in project lifecycles, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in data governance processes.
3 to 5 years of experience in Investment Banking, specifically in Asset Servicing for payment and cash custody applications and data governance frameworks.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proficient with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra) and knowledge of data lineage and mapping techniques.
Familiarity with regulatory financial data management requirements and compliance standards; knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI is a plus.
Experienced in managing data governance within financial services, particularly payment and cash custody domains, with emphasis on operationalizing governance frameworks to maturity Level 3 per EDGM policy.
Capable of coordinating cross-functional stakeholder engagement including data stewards, governance teams, IT and compliance to embed accountability and adherence through project phases.
Comfortable handling multiple data governance projects simultaneously, ensuring real-time reporting capability and single source of truth for cash data with strong ownership of data quality outcomes.
