Own development and maintenance of automated test code for frontend, middleware, and database systems to improve code quality and reduce manual testing.
Analyze, diagnose, and repair broken test automation scripts, performing peer code reviews and providing technical leadership.
Collaborate with software engineers to design and execute automated tests, including SQL validations and API testing, and produce test documentation and reports.
Bachelor's degree preferred; extensive related professional experience may be considered as substitute.
5-7 years of relevant work experience in software test automation and development.
Proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, Playwright automation framework, SQL, API testing (SOAP/REST), GitHub, CI/CD, and Azure.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
Experienced in developing scalable, automated testing frameworks adhering to software engineering standards and best practices.
Capable of independently prioritizing work, exercising judgment, and providing mentorship to junior engineers.
Familiarity with BDD/Gherkin test design and hands-on participation in full software testing lifecycle including manual and functional testing.
