Research, prototype, and optimize robotics workloads to execute efficiently on NVIDIA's Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA).
Design, implement, and integrate PVA operators across robotics systems including sensor processing, perception, planning, and actuator control for latency, power, and throughput improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally to define acceleration strategies and support robotics teams using PVA through benchmarking, validation infrastructure, and technical mentorship.
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in robotics software, embedded systems, accelerated computing, or related fields involving robotics algorithms and sensor processing.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming with low-level debugging, performance profiling, and production-quality development skills.
Experience with embedded Linux and/or QNX, robotics middleware like ROS 2, and practical knowledge of SoC architecture, real-time scheduling, and heterogeneous hardware acceleration.
Experienced in mapping robotics algorithms to heterogeneous hardware including SIMD/VLIW processors and domain-specific accelerators like NVIDIA PVA.
Familiar with NVIDIA platforms such as Jetson, DRIVE, and IGX and ecosystem tools like CUDA, VPI, NvMedia, or ISSAC for real-time robotics applications.
Capable of analyzing complex robotics workloads end-to-end and optimizing for real-time constraints, collaborating effectively across hardware, software, and robotics teams.
