Own installation, configuration, and administration of Windows OS environments and VMware and/or Linux systems with a focus on high availability compute solutions.
Design, implement, and document procedures for system management including patching, updates, storage configurations, network configurations, and disaster recovery planning.
Monitor system performance, automate processes using scripting (Perl/Python/Bash) or DevOps tools, and prepare capacity/utilization reports.
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience or Master’s with 6+ years, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years hands-on administration experience in Windows OS environments, and/or VMware, and/or Linux (RHEL or similar).
Experience with scripting for automation (Perl/Python/Bash) or configuration management tools (Chef/Puppet).
Up to 15% travel required.
Experienced in managing complex multi-OS environments with a strong focus on Windows and virtualization technologies.
Capable of independently leading system design, automation initiatives, and disaster recovery planning in enterprise infrastructure.
Has certifications or proven knowledge aligning with Microsoft, VMware, Linux, AWS, and DevOps/Agile frameworks as an advantage.
