Develop HAL and peripheral device drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.) for MCX, Crossover RT, and i.MX devices in standalone bare metal, ROM, and RTOS environments.
Deliver high quality, well-documented, and tested code; verify ROM code and software on pre-silicon platforms like RTL and Emulation.
Analyze and resolve system-level issues collaboratively; maintain code quality through triage, pull request reviews, and full development lifecycle management.
7 years of relevant experience in embedded software development.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with embedded software focus, or equivalent experience.
Experience with ARM Assembly and C/C++; familiarity with ARM and RISC-V architectures preferred.
Experience developing device drivers for peripherals such as I2C, SPI, USB, UART; experience with GCC, GNU make, or ARM compilers (IAR, Keil, DS-5) preferred.
Experienced in low-level embedded software development including ROM code and pre-silicon verification/debugging environments.
Capable of working cross-functionally with SOC design, verification, validation, and architecture teams to meet security and safety standards.
Comfortable managing full development lifecycle, code quality, and mentoring junior engineers in a complex embedded systems context.
