Analyze GPU/CPU performance of video pipelines, isolate bottlenecks, and collaborate with hardware/software teams to optimize latency-sensitive streaming for cloud gaming.
Develop tools and capabilities to measure, evaluate, and improve video quality and codec performance using telemetry, AI models, and advanced video compression technologies.
5+ years of experience with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related area.
Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.
Strong understanding of real-time GPU-accelerated video pipeline performance including encoder behavior, color spaces, video scaling, transport efficiency, and latency optimisation in cloud/distributed systems.
Familiarity with API frameworks such as Vulkan, CUDA, OpenGL, and DirectX, and knowledge of video codecs H.264, HEVC, AV1 including tuning codec configurations.
Experienced with debugging, improving reliability, and stability in complex streaming systems under degraded network conditions using telemetry and statistical analysis.
Proficient in integrating AI models into real-time video pipelines and applying video quality assessment metrics (VMAF, CAMBI, PSNR, SSIM).
Possesses deep system software skills including OS internals, user-mode and kernel-mode drivers, and GPU performance optimisation, preferably with multi-GPU experience on Intel and AMD architectures.
