Own and support data architecture design for enterprise data warehouse delivery in banking or financial services.
Analyze source data, data flows, business requirements and support Teradata SQL investigation and solution validation.
Produce and present architecture artefacts to stakeholders and governance boards ensuring regulatory compliance and data governance integration.
Minimum 5+ years in data architecture or senior data engineering lead with architecture ownership.
Strong hands-on Teradata SQL capabilities in an on-premises enterprise data warehouse.
Experience with financial services data models and regulatory data environments including BCBS239 compliance.
Proficiency in DevOps solutions, AWS architecture (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), Java programming, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), automation (Ansible), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Experienced in both strategic data architecture and hands-on technical delivery supporting enterprise data warehouses.
Strong stakeholder management and governance presentation skills for alignment on architecture decisions.
Holds relevant technical certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Developer and Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer.
