Lead design and deployment of complex infrastructure automation tools and strategies across hybrid cloud, Windows, UNIX/Linux, and virtualization platforms.
Own and govern automation platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and AWX, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, auditable, and aligned with enterprise security and governance standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, act as escalation point for complex automation issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to identify high-value automation use cases.
8–12+ years of infrastructure engineering or automation experience with leadership in enterprise automation initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), AWX, Terraform, and automation orchestration technologies.
Advanced scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash or equivalent; experience automating Windows and UNIX/Linux infrastructure at scale; knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and automation testing practices.
Experience leading enterprise-scale infrastructure automation initiatives with proven ability to influence and mentor engineers without direct authority.
Strong expertise in policy-driven automation aligned with security and compliance requirements, including embedding policy-as-code and hardening standards.
Proven capability working in collaborative, cross-domain teams including platform engineering, operations, security, and architecture to reduce operational toil and accelerate platform delivery.
