Develop and support credit risk management and business intelligence analytic solutions for TransUnion’s clients, including predictive models for lenders and credit-related industries.
Design and execute data extraction, segmentation, statistical analysis using languages like R, Python, SQL, and big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) on server/cloud environments.
Deliver analytic insights and recommendations to internal/external stakeholders including executive audiences, and identify opportunities for adoption of TransUnion analytic products.
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, operations research, or a highly quantitative field.
Programming proficiency in R and familiarity with other languages such as SQL, Python, Hive, Pig, C/C++, Java; strong Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel.
Ability to travel 10-20%.
Work Experience Required: At least 6 months of professional analytic experience or internships preferably in Financial Services or related industries.
Experienced in credit risk analytics and familiar with credit bureau data and related business practices.
Comfortable operating with modest supervision in a complex, dynamic, matrixed, global environment.
Capable of managing multiple projects with strong project management skills, and delivering concise data-driven presentations to diverse audiences.
