Lead Infrastructure Engineer- Proxy & Network Security

Own the design, deployment, and end-to-end management of proxy-based security solutions using Broadcom (Bluecoat) and SaaS secure gateway technologies.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for proxy issues, including collaborating with IT and business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goals.

Lead process improvement initiatives including documentation, change management, and mentorship of team members; leverage enterprise-authorized AI tools for infrastructure analysis and automated remediation validation.

5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, specifically with installation, migration, and decommissioning of Broadcom (Bluecoat) proxy/security devices and SaaS secure gateway vendors (Zscaler or Netskope).

Strong skills in network infrastructure and security concepts including HTTP/HTTPS protocols, vulnerability mitigation, SIEM tools, and automation scripting (shell/Python/Ansible).

Experience with REST APIs, container deployment models, version control, and working in a 24x7 on-call rotation including off-hours/weekends.

Demonstrated ability to use and validate enterprise-authorized AI tools in infrastructure workflows, ensuring security, resiliency, and auditability.

Experienced infrastructure engineer with deep expertise in proxy/security device ecosystems and network security in large enterprise environments.

Comfortable leading process improvements and mentoring peers while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder levels.

Proficient in applying AI-assisted infrastructure engineering practices with strong validation rigor and operational discipline in security-sensitive settings.
