Own the administration, operation, and support of enterprise middleware platforms including GoAnywhere MFT, AWS MSK (Kafka), IBM MQ, and AWS ElastiCache to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
Manage platform capacity planning, incident/problem management, automation, and compliance including secure data movement and integration at scale.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and networking teams on secure integrations, observability, disaster recovery readiness, and production incident root cause analysis.
4-5 years of experience in middleware/integration/platform engineering supporting production systems.
Hands-on administration experience (4-5 years) with at least two middleware platforms among Kafka (AWS MSK), GoAnywhere MFT, AWS ElastiCache (Redis/Memcached), IBM MQ.
Experience with Linux administration, networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, firewalls, ports), and distributed systems troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of AWS core services (VPC, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, security groups, KMS, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store); production support experience including incident management and RCA; scripting/automation skills (Python/Shell); familiarity with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Experienced in hands-on middleware operations with strong understanding of messaging/integration concepts including queues/topics, pub-sub, delivery semantics, retries, and dead-letter handling.
Ability to operate complex distributed systems with deep platform expertise (IBM MQ clustering, Kafka broker tuning, GoAnywhere advanced workflows, or Elasticache Redis clustering and tuning).
Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration involving security, networking, and application teams to ensure secure and reliable data integration and disaster recovery readiness.
