Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for embedded firmware and software within real-time control systems for electrical power distribution.
Perform system-level testing of integrated end-to-end embedded platforms, identify and debug defects, and automate test cases using and enhancing existing automation frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot defects, maintain test environments including hardware and simulations, and drive improvements in QA processes and automation coverage using AI.
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Controls, or Instrumentation Engineering.
1 to 3 years of experience in software development and testing, preferably in embedded systems.
At least 1 year of development experience in Python, C#, or other scripting languages.
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Robot Framework, PyCharm, and familiarity with source control (Git, SVN) and issue tracking software (JIRA, TFS).
Experience working in embedded real-time system testing and automation within power distribution or controls domain, including knowledge of SCADA protocols (DNP, MODBUS, IEC61850).
Comfortable working in Agile SCRUM development lifecycle and contributing to continuous integration and deployment environments.
Capable of independently developing and enhancing test automation frameworks, with ability to collaborate globally and drive process improvements leveraging AI techniques.
