Ensure high stability and reliability of Qualcomm’s ARMv9 server CPU platforms across hardware, firmware, and software layers.
Validate and stress-test platform components including boot flows, power management, CPU, memory, PCIe Gen5/6, CXL, and virtualization environments such as KVM/QEMU and Kubernetes clusters.
Lead debugging and root cause analysis utilizing logs, kernel debugging, hardware debuggers; develop automation scripts and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for customer workload validation.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 3+ years of software engineering or related experience (or Master’s degree with 2+ years, or PhD with 1+ year).
Experience working with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python (minimum 2 years academic or work).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux internals, Python/Shell scripting, UEFI/BIOS, ACPI/SMBIOS, OpenBMC/Redfish.
Experience with PCIe/CXL, reliability/availability/serviceability (RAS), virtualization technologies, CI/CD processes, and hardware-software debugging and problem-solving.
Experienced in complex system-level validation and stress-testing in a hardware-software co-designed environment targeting server CPU platforms.
Skilled in end-to-end root cause analysis involving multi-layer failures spanning hardware, firmware, OS, and application layers.
Capable of developing automation frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality monitoring and customer workload validation.
