Lead development and support for applications on Mainframe transactional platforms using COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Talend, Abinitio, AWS Glue, and manage data movement between Mainframe and relational databases including PostgreSQL, Teradata, Oracle, and Snowflake.
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate cross-functionally in an agile environment.
Minimum 10 years of experience in application development including Mainframe technologies.
Strong Mainframe development skills using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
Proficient in SQL on OLAP (Teradata, Snowflake) and OLTP (Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL) platforms and experience with ETL frameworks (Talend, Abinitio, AWS Glue).
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university or 3 years of software development experience in lieu of degree.
Work Location: Based in Hyderabad, India with flexibility for remote work.
Experienced in full software development life cycle phases with strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on large-scale, business-critical solutions.
Comfortable working in agile and SCRUM teams with familiarity in continuous integration and test-driven development.
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams, including participation in production support and on-call duties.
