Senior Principal Forward Deployed Engineer

Lead architecture and delivery of enterprise AI Data Platform transformations for Oracle's largest customers, including designing scalable data consolidation, integration, and AI-ready architectures.

Own migrations of enterprise analytics platforms from Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, and on-premises to Oracle AI Data Platform, with workload assessment, refactoring, and SPARK optimization.

Serve as executive technical advisor engaging with CIOs, CDOs, CTOs and engineering leaders, influencing product roadmap and establishing reusable engineering standards and delivery frameworks.

10–12+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise data platforms.

Expert knowledge of Oracle AI Data Platform or equivalent modern cloud data platforms and extensive experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Azure, AWS, Kafka, Python, SQL, Scala or Java.

Proven experience in Forward Deployed Engineer, Principal Solution Architect, Consulting Engineer, or similar technical leadership roles.

Deep expertise in SPARK architecture, configuration, tuning, distributed systems, and demonstrated success migrating analytics platforms from various cloud/on-premises platforms.

Experienced technical leader combining hands-on engineering with executive-level consulting across complex, large-scale AI and data modernization programs.

Strategic operator capable of influencing product direction and establishing reusable delivery methodologies and engineering excellence globally.

Comfortable leading multi-petabyte data platform modernization with strong stakeholder management at executive levels including CIOs and CTOs.
