Tier-1 brand and metro location increase competition despite specialized GPU runtime requirements.
Highly specialized GPU runtime, HIP/CUDA, and low-level debugging skills limit cross-industry transferability.
Requires specialized GPU/runtime SDET skills, C++ debugging, CI and senior validation experience, so filters are strict.

Own end-to-end triage and root cause analysis of HIP runtime failures across CI, nightly, and release testing pipelines.
Design, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks for HIP runtime APIs, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and reducing test flakiness.
Collaborate closely with HIP runtime developers, compiler teams, and system software engineers to improve test coverage, accelerate issue resolution, and contribute upstream to open-source HIP/ROCm repositories.
Experience in software quality engineering or SDET roles focused on low-level runtime or system software.
Strong proficiency in C++ including debugging tools like gdb or lldb.
Working knowledge of HIP or CUDA runtime concepts and Linux-based development and debugging.
Familiarity with CI systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and writing/maintaining automated tests for runtime libraries.
Operates effectively at the intersection of runtime systems, GPU APIs, and CI-driven quality assurance in a fast-evolving open-source environment.
Has deep technical skill in triaging complex runtime errors including hardware–software boundary issues, concurrency, and asynchronous execution.
Experienced in cross-team collaboration with runtime, compiler, and system software engineers to drive high-quality releases in GPU programming stacks.
