Lead the development and delivery of a baseline Linux platform SDK including BSP bring-up, device drivers, middleware, build systems, and packaging for a next-generation MPU platform.
Own and execute the software-centric AVV strategy for post-silicon validation involving key subsystems like DDR, high-speed IO, networking, and power management to ensure silicon readiness.
Build and manage a cross-functional team for Linux SDK, platform drivers, and validation; define milestones, quality metrics, and collaborate closely with hardware, DV, PD teams, and ecosystem partners.
15+ years of experience in embedded/low-level software and platform bring-up/validation with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
Strong expertise in Linux kernel, device drivers, BSP bring-up, and low-level debugging with hands-on SoC bring-up and debug experience (JTAG, trace, emulation).
Experience validating complex subsystems such as DDR, PCIe, USB, HDMI/Display, and power management.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experienced leader capable of managing cross-functional teams focused on Linux BSP/SDK, platform drivers, and post-silicon validation.
Technical depth in hardware-software co-optimization with the ability to influence SoC architecture and silicon readiness decisions through software-driven validation.
Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash) and familiar with CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and validation in embedded platforms.
