Develop and maintain cloud security automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins) embedding security controls for secure-by-design deployments.
Automate AWS security compliance including policy enforcement, drift detection, vulnerability analysis, and implement automated detection and remediation for security gaps.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to provide security guidance, review architecture, and standardize reusable security templates and frameworks for cloud environments.
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of expert-level IaC experience (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible) or minimum 5+ years of experience without degree.
3 to 5 years of CI/CD automation and orchestration experience including security guardrails automation (Jenkins, CloudBees, or equivalent).
Deep hands-on AWS networking and security expertise including VPC, routing, NACLs, Security Groups, IAM, CloudTrail, Config, and Security Hub.
Work timings require availability between 06:00 AM – 11:30 AM US Eastern Time for meetings; remaining hours flexible.
Experienced in building and managing cloud infrastructure security automations at scale within enterprise AWS environments.
Skilled in collaborating with DevOps/application teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud architectures early in design.
Familiarity with policy-as-code, cloud security posture tools, and compliance in regulated industries such as financial services.
