Operate and support large-scale enterprise compute platforms including bare metal, virtualization (KVM, OpenStack, Harvester HCI), and Kubernetes in private cloud environments.
Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, patching, upgrades, and validation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), GitOps practices, and scripting (Python, Bash).
Collaborate with platform and SRE teams to maintain secure, performant, multi-tenant services, including managing SLAs, KPIs, error budgets, and providing on-call escalation support.
6+ years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Operations with a strong focus on compute platform operations.
Hands-on experience with bare metal compute environments, PXE boot, automated OS provisioning, Redfish APIs, and Linux administration (Ubuntu preferred).
Operational experience with virtualization and private cloud platforms including KVM on Ubuntu, OpenStack, Harvester HCI, and production Kubernetes environments.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrates expert-level technical skills in compute hardware management, Kubernetes, virtualization (OpenStack, KVM), and Linux OS at scale in enterprise or telco/edge cloud environments.
Experienced in automation driven by Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across complex distributed systems.
Familiar with SRE practices including toil reduction, error budgets, SLA management, and collaboration across global teams in high-availability infrastructure operations.
