Design and develop test automation frameworks for verification and validation of embedded firmware within Power, Thermal, and DC Power product lines.
Develop test cases, perform feasibility analysis for automation, and execute automation scripts using Python for embedded systems.
Build embedded hardware test setups including debugging, troubleshooting, and schematic reading; use tools such as NI, Vector (VT System, CANoe), Selenium, JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Power Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent.
3 to 5 years relevant experience in software test automation in embedded system domains.
Minimum 2 years programming experience in Python with involvement in at least one end-to-end automation project.
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship available.
Experienced in embedded system test automation with exposure to communication protocols such as RS 485, Modbus, CAN Open, Ethernet/TCP/IP, I2C, and SPI.
Hands-on with hardware test setups and familiar with HIL testing tools like NI and Vector (VT System, CANoe); knowledge of CAPL preferred.
Able to work independently within a global engineering team executing multi-product line projects and following formal communication/reporting processes.
