Provide 24/7 threat monitoring, detection, and incident management including alert triage, incident validation, and prioritization per SOPs.
Conduct post-incident analysis and maintain incident management policies, aiming to reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR).
Report and escalate security incidents to stakeholders and preserve forensic artefacts following security incidents.
2-5 years of relevant experience in SOC, Incident Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, SOC platform management, Automation, Asset Integration, Threat Intel Management, or Threat Hunting.
Mandatory certifications include at least one from: Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (EC-Council), Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering (B.Tech/B.E), MCA, or MBA with IT background.
Product certifications on SOC Security Tools (e.g., SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, NBA) preferred; experience with SOC tool Splunk preferred.
Experienced professional with a solid background in SOC operations and various facets of incident detection and response.
Familiarity with incident triage using playbooks and managing security incidents under SLA/KPI constraints.
Candidate possessing both relevant certifications and hands-on experience with SOC toolsets, especially Splunk and other security automation technologies.
