Ensure application of QA policies and testing coverage on assigned projects, including test framework setup and end-to-end product functionality evaluation.
Write, review, and automate test cases using Perl, KSH, Java, JUnit, TestNG, SQL, Selenium within an Agile development process; manage defects and coordinate with developers.
Drive automation initiatives, perform performance testing, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to quality processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
3-5 years of recent experience in Software Development and/or Software Test Automation.
Technical degree (four-year) or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in Perl, KSH, Java, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG; experience with automation tools like SoapUI, Load Runner, QTP.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments, backend testing, API/web service testing (REST, SOAP), databases (Oracle, Mongo, Cassandra), and Agile methodologies including CI integration (Jenkins).
Experienced in Agile process as a Scrum Team member with ability to integrate automation within CI pipelines.
Strong technical and analytical skills specifically in backend testing, scripting, and automation across complex tech stacks.
Capable of coordinating cross-team communication and defect management with strong knowledge of full QA lifecycle and SDLC.
